Top Three Reasons to Partner with Write On Fundraising
Our impact is huge! Write On Fundraising is proud to serve a diverse community of impact organizations with fundraising programs in emerging, scaling, and mature levels of development. While we do not limit grant, annual fund, and capital campaign services to specific industries or fields, we do prioritize working with organizations that align or are working to align with our own core values. From 2018 - 2024, Write On Fundraising helped to raise more than $200MM for 250+ nonprofits and served thousands more through our free and low-cost educational resources.
We already know your potential clients. In addition to providing a strong national brand, dedicated marketing support, and one-to-one training and professional development, Write On also provides to our franchisees qualified leads in every market and a proprietary sales system proven to accelerate growth. All sales traffic at Write On is inbound, meaning our marketing strategy brings thousands of pre-selected, potential clients to our front door where they are then qualified (or disqualified) and introduced as a new friend (warm handoff) to the local market regional director.
Our brand of fundraising builds wealth… for fundraisers. While the field of fundraising continues to diversify, 73% of professional fundraisers in 2024 were women and only 10% identified as Black, Indigenous, or people of color. On average, women were paid 84% of what men were comparatively compensated in the same year, and when considered intersectionally, the wage gap grows from 16% to a staggering 42% annually. And that doesn’t even begin to take into account the Bureau of Labor Statistics’ additional 4-7% drop in pay for nonprofit professionals.
Write On Fundraising offers affordable, entry-level and financing options as well as low royalty fees so that franchisees can focus on quickly building wealth. This is particularly important for talented fundraisers who, because of systemic and industry-specific pay barriers, are already in “catch-up mode” when it comes to accumulating wealth.
What’s next? How do I get started?
The first step is to Submit an Application online and sign an NDA. If your application meets minimum requirements, you will then have a one-hour meeting with the CEO where we will focus on fit within the Write On system. We will then check references, run a background and credit check, and schedule a formal skills interview. Assessments, including StrengthsFinders or Predictive Index (standard for all Write On employees), may be requested at this juncture.
Candidates will then embed (remotely) within an existing Write On team for an operations evaluation. The final step is an in-person discovery day with the CEO, Write On clients, and key personnel in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
Write On Fundraising is very intentional about the individuals we consider for partnership and employs an extended relationship-building period with all prospective franchisees.
